L.C. Williams

On Friday, July 6, 2018, the Angel of Silence came to take L.C. Williams home. His soul winged a flight from the world of sorrow to place of eternal rest and peace. He was born March 12, 1934 to the parents of Charlie and Louisa Williams.

L.C. received his education from New Hope School. He united with St. John Baptist Church at an early age. He married Ruby Williams and to this union four children were born: Shirley, Mary, Dorothy, and Rickey.

L.C. believed in hard work, discipline, and loyalty. He was a farmer for many years and later became a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by: his parents and sister Maureen Wheat.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Shirley Helms of Harrisburg, PA, Mary Morrow (Terry) and Dorothy Williams both of Kilgore, TX, Rickey Williams (Sharon) of Longview, TX, Pat Jackson of Kilgore, TX, Angela Murphy (Pernel) of Gladewater, TX, Cheryl Shabazz (Ameer) of Teague, TX, and Roy Gene Mayfield of Kilgore, TX. Sisters; Charlene Dudley and Christine Shepherd both of Kilgore, TX, Francis Henson of Austin, TX ,and Geneva Taylor (Cecil) of Kilgore, TX. Twelve grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
